When I first started this venture I didn’t know how it would be perceived by all the people in my life or those I don’t know who stumble across this little blog of mine. In the short amount of time that I’ve been sharing my personal style, thoughts, and life with you all I can honestly say I’ve met so many genuine people. Whether it be another blogger, photographer, or a new friend at my favorite place to shop, it’s been really refreshing to know that in all the uncertainty and doubts I’ve had that there are really kind people out there who have given me the words I needed to keep pursuing my passion.
I have made new friends since starting this blog and I say with confidence that that’s the best part. I love getting to know people from different backgrounds and forming new friendships along the way. Personally I was looking for something more fulfilling in my life that would combine my love of fashion and enable my creative spirit to thrive. And there you have it, Whit’s Whims is born. I hope you’ll stick around and follow along as I grow in this new outlet and share more of myself with all of you!

If you’re looking for a neutral lace up sweater that can be dressed up or down then this is the one for you. I know this sweater has been circulating through Pinterest and Instagram for awhile now, but trust me in knowing that I wouldn’t steer you in the wrong direction! It is a little oversized (I’m wearing a S/M) but I personally like that style with my sweaters. You can also style it off one shoulder or both shoulders if you untie the lace up enough. I’ve been wearing this on repeat lately because it’s so comfy and easy to throw on when you don’t want to think too hard about your outfit but still want to look good.
