Hey hey! It’s been such a long week it seems but I am so excited for this weekend. I’m headed to my hometown of Longview, TX to visit my family and celebrate my grandmother’s 80th birthday! I haven’t been home since Christmas so it’s going to be nice to be back around that small town feel and see all the familiar faces. When I’m home for a few days it’s kind of a known fact that my country accent comes out after about 5 minutes of being around my mom. Haha love you mom and that cute accent of yours!
One of my favorite things to do when I go home is stop by all my favorite restaurants. I’m such a foodie at heart. My palate has expanded since growing up in Longview, but one of the best comforts of going home is visiting all the restaurants I used to love. This is probably a stretch but if for any reason you’re ever in Longview, TX you should get your pizza fix at Pizza King and your TexMex fill at El Sombrero…so deliciously good! Major eateries happening this weekend and I couldn’t be more excited!
I won’t continue to ramble on about how much I love to eat and food in general, so let’s talk about this outfit. When all else fails, I know I can count on a classic white top and a great pair of denim jeans to make me feel confident in what I’m wearing. This top is slightly sheer and feels so amazing on. It fits true to size too, for reference I’m wearing a size small. I’ve become a little obsessed with off shoulder tops the past few months and honestly this particular one may be my best purchase yet. It also comes in a pretty pink color as well.
Another thing I’m picky about is my jeans. These days they pretty much have to include some sort of distressing and also be flattering on. When you find a pair that meets all of your high expectations for $60 you just can’t say no. I’ve probably worn these jeans 20 times and haven’t washed them yet. I need to make time but just keep wearing them so much that there’s no time to ensure they’re clean. Sorry if that’s TMI haha.
