Must have Winter Coats
As much as I’d like to be jetting off to a tropical sunny vacay right now, unfortunately I’m stuck in the dead of winter in Dallas. Speaking of vacay, I’ve got to start planning where I want to go this year. Traveling is one thing I value a lot in life and try to do as often as I can. I feel like I NEED to see ALL the places and experience anything new and fresh. Anyone else feel like that? My favorite places I visited in 2017 were actually all in California! Santa Monica, Laguna Beach, and Venice Beach were at the top of my list. Living by the beach just seems like it would be a dream – it’s a whole different vibe and one that I could definitely get down with!
On another note, we are finally getting our “dose” of winter weather in Dallas and cozy layers are a must! One of the easiest ways to bundle up is to throw on a chic oversized coat with a sweater and skinnies. When I saw this coat recently I knew I had to have it! I immediately thought how cute it would be with an all black outfit. The coat also comes in pink which I think is really cute too! Lucky for you guys it’s actually on sale for only $80 right now – such a steal for an adorable coat that is super warm and cozy! Honestly I feel like this coat and pattern in general would last seasons to come and be a closet staple for the fall and winter months!
I usually only buy one new coat per year, so it can be a tough decision deciding exactly what type to get, partly because there’s so many to choose from! I try to take a look at my closet and not duplicate anything I already have. Or if I do want a coat that is the same style/color, I usually donate the older one to replace with a newbie! Out with the old, and in with the new, new!
