Classic Work Wear with Express

As some of you may know I quit my full time corporate job in April of this year. After working in that type of environment for over 6 years, I accumulated a lot of work wear pieces in my wardrobe. For me it was important to be comfortable but still show my personal style at the office. Express has always been one of my favorite places to shop for 9-5 attire. They have such a wide selection from skirts and blouses, to dress pants and more. Today I’m styling an outfit with Express that I could see myself wearing to a business meeting or any professional function.
The best advice I could give when looking for work wear is to stick with items that can be styled in many ways. For example, this window pane skirt I’m wearing could easily be paired with any other color top because it’s neutral. I think it would look great with an olive green sweater or a silky red blouse. My ribbed v neck sweater comes in a few different colors and is great for layering this fall. Sweaters like this are classic and will never go out of style. I also think a crew neck sweater is perfect for the office and would go great with skirts or dress pants. Although I’m no longer in a corporate work setting, I still dress up from time to time! Express will always be a great source to find exactly what I’m looking for when it comes to work wear.
