FALL LAYERS WITH LOFT
Who else is so excited that fall is finally here and the weather is chilly enough for sweaters? I know I am and when looking for sweaters I always count on Loft to give me the goods! I’ve partnered with Loft to show you how to layer your sweaters this fall. Loft has an amazing selection of sweaters and fall clothing every year. One of the great things about this brand is the frequency that they run sales! I feel like I get the best deals when I shop at LOFT and that’s important for me since I’m a girl on a budget. One of the many ways I style my loft sweaters is layers on layers! There’s so many versatile pieces at Loft that it’s super easy to pull a layered sweater look together like the below looks I’m sharing with you today!
The first look I’m styling with Loft is all about the neutral layers! A neutral cowl neck sweater like this is a MUST for me. I get so much wear out of sweaters like this and they are amazing for layering! This particular one comes in 3 colors. I also really love this sweater that has a little bit more of a textured fabric. The sweater I’m wearing is pretty thin for the most part, but will for sure keep you cozy and warm! I decided to pair it with a sleeveless sweater vest. I have SO many loft sweater vests. I absolutely love them because it doesn’t get too terribly cold in Dallas and it’s perfect for our fall weather. If the weather is sporadic, I can easily add or lose some of these layers. Another great thing about sweater vests are the length, they are long in the back and look great with leggings too! I get so many outfit ideas with vests like this and owning several neutral ones definitely comes in handy! I recently bought this cream colored one and you guys — LOVE. My jeans are also Loft and I always find them to be very slimming. This color is more of a faded black/grey, which I didn’t own before. I would recommend sizing down in Loft jeans, I am usually a 25-26.
I’m talking all about this amazing sweater dress for the second look. It’s more of a swing dress, so with this particular style I like to pair it with a simple belt to cinch the waist. Every girl needs a dress like this in their wardrobe. If you’re ever in an outfit crisis, a LBD is always a good choice. One of the great things about a dress like this one is you can wear it day to night. It’s super simple to add a pump and have more of a “going out” look. Obviously Dallas doesn’t get THAT cold, so I tend to lean more towards cardigans for the majority of fall. How precious is this chunky cardigan? It immediately caught my eye because I didn’t already own one in this color and it is SO cozy! Pockets too, MAJOR plus! It also comes in red which I think is perfect for the upcoming holiday season. How chic would this cardi be with a basic tee and faux leather leggings?
