Hello, Monday! Fresh start to a new week and it feels good! I honestly can’t believe we are already in July – it seems like this summer is flying by. One thing I love most about summer is the ability to be versatile with my wardrobe. In the colder months I feel restricted to mainly jeans and sweaters, but summer is when I can have all the fun in planning my outfits! When I’m buying new items for my wardrobe I always ask myself “Will I really wear this, and wear it often” or “Will this just sit all pretty in my closet and never be touched.” I especially like investing in pieces that I can wear to work (I have a full time 9-5 job in addition to blogging) as well as on a night out or just everyday casual.
This gorgeous floral ruffle top from Chicwish is a new favorite of mine. It pairs so well with a faux leather skirt or even jeans. I’ve also worn it with white shorts and wedges which was super adorable. The material is lightweight so you can wear it during the summer months. Fits true to size also, I’m wearing a medium here.
