Real talk. Do yall ever get stuck in a routine when it comes to your wardrobe and not venture out from the same color? That’s definitely what has happened to me the past several weeks. I’ve been majorly obsessing over all things white and flowy. For me, wearing white in the summer just shows a classic summer style. Maybe it’s because in the summer I have somewhat of a natural tan and it makes buying white pieces so much more appealing. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll wear white in the fall too – even jeans! I don’t abide by the “No white after labor day” rule..following rules is so overrated when it comes to style. I tend to make my own rules – Who’s with me? Haha but seriously, I love the look of a chunky cardigan over white pieces so these will all come in handy in the next few months as fall approaches. Speaking of fall, I’m shocked summer is almost over. It really flew by this year. Some of my favorite trends this summer have been one shoulder, ANYTHING ruffle or tiered, and don’t let me forget to mention off the shoulder. What are some of yall’s favorite summer trends? Another great thing about wearing anything white is that it literally goes with everything (in most cases) so it’s super easy to just throw on your favorite with a pair of jeans or shorts and be done with that decision of the day. I’m all about convenience. When I am literally running around in circles in my closet trying to find something to wear, in most cases I end up wearing a basic white tee. This is an effortless look that you can still make chic. I typically always tie mine up in a knot so it’s more fitted. I think I kind of wore out that exact look this summer because I repeated it so much! Just the other night I wore a pair of army green joggers (a must have in my opinion) with a white tee knotted up and it was easily one of my favorite outfits of the week.
