I’m very excited to finally share my trip to Cabo with you all! Even though a lot of my travel plans were canceled this year due to the virus I felt safe traveling to Mexico after hearing they were being very safe and taking the necessary precautions. Cabo San Lucas has always been my #1 Mexico getaway spot so I jumped at the chance to stay at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica resort for the first time. Not only is this resort STUNNING but it is incredibly well kept, extremely sanitized and cleaner than most places I visit in Dallas.
Traveling to Cabo San Lucas during Covid-19
Traveling to Cabo was a breeze! I took a nonstop American flight from Dallas straight to Cabo San Lucas airport. Once I arrived there were Covid forms asking if I had been around anyone with the virus. Other than that it was pretty standard procedures for entering Mexico. After that I ordered a margarita at the bar (duh) and grabbed a car for the 40 minute drive to Pueblo Bonito Pacifica.

The resort itself is GORGEOUS! All of the beachside cabanas won me over and that’s where I spent most of my time during the trip. I also loved how peaceful and tranquil the entire property was, partly due to the fact it’s adults only and currently only 35% occupancy due to Covid. There’s no other resorts around, so it honestly felt like I had the beach to myself which was so nice.
My room
I had a suite in The Towers, which had a living area with a couch/tv and small dining area. The bedroom had a king size bed with a huge bathroom that included a shower and jacuzzi tub (which you know I enjoyed). There was also a large patio that had the most gorgeous view of the ocean. I was also very shocked that I had my own butler the entire trip who made sure I had everything I needed on a daily basis – truly over the top service!

Food + Drink
I could go on and on about the food and drinks at Pueblo Bonito! At every other all-inclusive resort I’ve stayed at the food was always mediocre at best. This wasn’t the case at this resort, I was truly impressed with everything I ate and drank..and if you followed along on this trip you know it was A LOT! My beachside cabana came with a waiter so I ordered all of my lunches there. It was HEAVENLY enjoying the food as I relaxed by the ocean. One of my favorite dinners was at Quivira steakhouse which is right next to the ocean. I highly recommend trying the calamari and espresso martini! Other things to consider while visiting this property is the tequila tasting + beachside mixology class – I really enjoyed both of those experiences!
