the velvet dress you need in your life

Happy Thursday friends! I’ve teamed up with Nordstrom to share this stunning velvet dress with you! When I have a special occasion coming up, I know I can always find a dress at Nordstrom that is on trend and stands out like this one! There’s SO many dresses to choose from at Nordstrom that it’s slightly overwhelming. However, with that being said..whatever your price point may be, there IS a dress for you!

Velvet is a hot trend for fall, so there’s no question more velvet pieces will be circulating into my wardrobe in the coming months. Are yall loving velvet? I’d love to hear what trends you’re absolutely loving and/or hating this season by commenting below! Velvet and sock booties are my top faves right now.

Special occasions like weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc are a great opportunity to buy yourself a new dress. Lucky for you I’ve rounded up the best fall dresses at all price points below! But before you scroll down for those, let’s talk about the dress I’m wearing. First of all, the velvet makes it stand out in a crowd and the paisley pattern adds an extra feminine touch. Be warned though, if you do decide to wear velvet there’s no doubt you’ll be feeling on the fabric the entire time you’re wearing it! So much softness! I also think this length would be perfect for all ages and body types, the midi style is both classy and chic. Can you just imagine dancing at a wedding in this little number? So fun!

When it comes to finding a great dress for fall, I tend to lean towards darker colors like black, navy, and red. I’ve rounded up a ton in all of these colors below, plus some! What goes with a new velvet dress? Velvet shoes! These velvet beauties come in 5 amazing colors and would spice up any outfit this fall! Honestly I wear nude pumps with a majority of my outfits, so I’ve linked a few that I either own or highly recommend! If you’ve noticed, I don’t really venture outside of my nude/brown shoe collection, but for those of you that wear black shoes more often – don’t worry I’ve got you covered as well.

This year hasn’t been one full of weddings for me, (kinda happy about that) but hopefully for those of you that have some coming up this post will help with your outfit decision! If you ever have any questions or need suggestions on a specific type of outfit, please feel free to reach out – I love helping in any way I can!
