Last month me and two of my blogger besties Yasmina and Jaclyn had a weekend staycation at the Fairmont Dallas hotel! I’ve heard SO many great things about the hotel since I moved to Dallas in 2011. Naturally I was super excited to finally stay there and see it all for myself. I’ve actually never stayed at any Fairmont hotel so I went in completely blind as to what the overall experience would be like. The hotel is located in the prime area of Downtown Dallas, just a few short blocks from amazing restaurants and nightlife. For a cocktail lounge with an edge, check out the Midnight Rambler. Need some Italian food in your life? I mean, who doesn’t? Try Americano – anddd you’re welcome! If you’re visiting the Dallas area, I highly recommend The Fairmont – I felt right at home during my stay and know you would too!

I must say that from the moment I arrived until the day I left I was greeted and helped by the nicest concierge staff that took customer service to another level. After getting settled into our massive suite (thanks Fairmont – you outdid yourself on that one) we enjoyed the best dinner at The Pyramid restaurant inside the hotel. After a long work week it was so nice to just relax with the girls over delicious food and cocktails! Do yourself a favor and order the charcuterie board – it had a great variety and we basically devoured it in minutes (always a good sign when dinner is relatively quiet because the food is so good!) As for cocktails, I went with my usual glass of wine, but Jaclyn had the Pineapple Mule and it came served in a gold pineapple shaker- so festive! After dinner we went out to a little karaoke bar and after a cocktail or two I apparently thought it was a good idea to sing in public – NEVER again. For those of you that saw that via Insta story – my sincerest apologies!

In my opinion one of the best parts about The Fairmont is the 18th floor, where the Gold Members lounge is. It’s the kind of space that makes you feel like a real VIP — my kind of place! I’m not quite sure that I’d ever make it to gold member status, but it sure was nice to get a little taste! There’s a fantastic breakfast spread every morning and a fully stocked bar, hellooo mimosas! I could totally get down with that. Who’s with me?

On our last day at the hotel we had the best breakfast together. If you’re anything like me the obvious menu choice will be the avocado toast. Trust me on this one – you WILL love it and want to go back for more! As far as Dallas hotels go, I highly recommend staying at The Fairmont for a fun staycation with the girls or a weekend getaway with your babe! Either way, you can count on a spectacular experience with top notch customer service from beginning to end!

XOXO
