Last month I shared a ton of pictures on my Instagram from the most gorgeous property I’ve ever stayed – Casa Koko. Today I’m going to share all about our stay at this stunning slice of paradise in Punta Mita. Be sure to scroll all the way down to see everything that Casa Koko has to offer!

Punta Mita

Mexico is always a good time in my opinion so of course I was on board for this trip. Punta Mita is about 45 minutes northwest of Puerto Vallarta. Traveling to this area is super quick from Dallas and by lunch we were walking into Casa Koko and greeted by a friendly staff and strong margaritas. I’ve been to Punta Mita before and it’s definitely one of my favorite spots in Mexico to visit. The ocean views, palm trees and gorgeous flowers literally everywhere make it an ideal vacation destination. I feel like this area is perfect for all kinds of groups including girls trips, couples, and even families!

Where to Stay | Casa Koko

Punta Mita only has a few hotels and resorts. Aside from that you have the option to rent a condo or home during your stay. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a luxurious villa I can’t recommend Casa Koko enough. When people ask me how this trip was and what I thought of our villa, I have the same response every single time. Casa Koko is hands down the nicest, most luxurious place I will ever stay in my life. I am 100 percent sure of that. The girls I traveled with all agree that we were so lucky to have stayed at Casa Koko thanks to the planning of Rejane with the R-List.

Casa Koko is a huge property that can accommodate up to 22 people. There are 9 rooms but you don’t have to book all of them during your stay. It’s a minimum of 3 nights and 3 bedrooms. A few of us bunked up together but honestly the rooms are so spacious that it never felt crowded. I loved the open concept of this villa and the cute little paths and bridges that connect the property. Words really can’t describe the luxurious feel of Casa Koko but I think the pictures do it justice. With how big it is, this villa is perfect for large groups. I think it’s especially great for a group couples trip or bachelor/bachelortette groups.

Other features of Casa Koko include:

  • Personal chef

  • Private butler

  • Spa + gym

  • Activities director (yoga, biking, surfing, personal trainer)

  • Access to Punta Mita beach clubs

  • Golf access to Jack Nicklaus signature 18-hole golf courses

  • Sailing to Marietas Island

What we did during our stay

Casa Koko planned our entire itinerary before we ever arrived. It was so nice not having to try to plan things out ourselves and make sure everyone agreed on the activities, etc. We spent the majority of the time at Casa Koko but also ventured out for a little fun!

Friday: We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted with lunch and margaritas. Afterwards we took a tour of the property and picked our rooms. Jaclyn and I bunked together and our room was very spacious and never felt crowded. Our group dinner at the villa this night was incredible. We had surf-n-turf that included lobster, steak, shrimp and much more.

Saturday: We went sailing with Vallarta Adventures and had so much fun! I’ll be honest I actually got sea sick for the first time ever! NOT FUN. I managed to keep it together and still had a lot of fun. The staff provided yummy snacks and cocktails during the sail and were very accommodating! After this we went to the Kupuri Beach Club for lunch and more margaritas (duh). I was a big fan of the beach club and highly recommend if you’re ever in Punta Mita. We had a little section right by the ocean where we were able to relax and take in the amazing view.

That night we went to dinner at the Punta Mita Residents Beach Club. There were so many interesting dishes and I was shocked that I actually tried Octopus for the first time! Everything was so delicious and it was another night spent with great company!

Sunday: This was by far my favorite day of the entire trip! It was basically a sunday funday, Casa Koko style. Of course we woke up and took pictures like the responsible working bloggers we are, ha! After that we just chilled and had lunch by the pool. The spicy margs were also flowing this day and resulted in Jaclyn and I having our own little pool party. We were the only ones who actually went swimming which is kind of shocking haha. Maybe it was the tequila that caused it but we had the best time jumping onto the floats and playing in the pool.

That night we all dressed in white and had another group dinner at the villa. Another amazing meal, no surprise there. I have to brag on the staff, who were so nice and accommodating to all our needs. I honestly never had an empty drink in hand the entire time!

I could talk about Casa Koko all day long and share the over the top experience we had in more detail, but I think the pictures and description do it justice. If you’re ever looking for a luxurious escape in Punta Mita, you know where to go!

Thank you Casa Koko for hosting us on this amazing girls trip that I will truly never forget!
